Early Week Cash Livestock Calls - 10/20/03
Hog prices are expected to start the week at steady money,
but there's talk of pressure finally emerging on cash cattle
prices.
Hogs are called steady, as
packers completed an ambitious slaughter last week. Their
margins look good, so they should be interested in keeping
up the pace, and buyers should be ready with steady/firm bids.
